Working Principle
The PEW European Type Jaw Crusher utilizes a motor to drive a flywheel, which activates the eccentric shaft, causing the swing jaw to move in a precise, elliptical path. As the swing jaw approaches the fixed jaw, raw material is crushed or split against the toothed jaw plates. When the swing jaw retracts, the crushed material is discharged through the bottom opening. This continuous, rhythmic cycle ensures high-volume throughput.

The bearing housing is constructed as a monolithic cast steel component, eliminating the structural stresses associated with split-housing designs. Combined with a heavy-duty forged eccentric shaft, this ensures maximum reliability and a longer service life under extreme loads.
Intelligent Hydraulic Control
Equipped with a dedicated hydraulic power unit, the crusher facilitates automated lubrication and rapid, safe chamber clearing. In the event of an overload or uncrushable material, the hydraulic system allows for quick clearance of the crushing chamber, significantly reducing unplanned downtime.
Optimized Crushing Efficiency
The "V"-shaped chamber and high-strength serrated liners are engineered to ensure the effective crushing surface area is maximized. This geometry prevents material bridging, increases capacity, and ensures consistent product sizing while significantly extending the wear life of the jaw plates.
Rapid Discharge Adjustment
Our advanced wedge-type discharge adjustment system allows operators to modify the closed-side setting (CSS) within minutes—even while the machine is idling. This system, paired with hydraulic automation, is safer, faster, and more precise than traditional shim-based systems.
