Processing Flow of Phosphate Ore from Raw Ore to Concentrate Powder

The whole process is mainly divided into four major steps:

Step 1: Crushing and Screening

This is like "slimming down" the ore.

Large phosphate ore is fed uniformly by a vibrating feeder, then undergoes primary crushing by a jaw crusher, followed by secondary and fine crushing by a cone crusher.

Vibrating screens are used for classification during the process, and belt conveyors are used for material transportation, crushing the ore to an appropriate particle size.

Step 2: Milling

This is "fine grinding".

The crushed ore is fed into a ball mill and ground into very fine powder.

At the same time, a spiral classifier separates the qualified fine powder, while coarse particles are returned to the ball mill for re-grinding.

Step 3: Mineral Processing (the most critical step)

The core purpose is to separate useful phosphate minerals from gangue.

The mainstream and essential technology here is flotation, and the core equipment is the flotation machine.

High-grade phosphate concentrate can be obtained through flotation.

Step 4: Drying and Dewatering

This step "dries" the concentrate to obtain the final product that is convenient for storage and transportation.

Obviously, the key equipment in the phosphate ore production line includes:

vibrating feeders, jaw crushers, cone crushers, ball mills, spiral classifiers, flotation machines and dryers.

Each performs its own duty to jointly complete the processing of phosphate ore.
