Working Principle

The PEW European Type Jaw Crusher utilizes a motor to drive a flywheel, which activates the eccentric shaft, causing the swing jaw to move in a precise, elliptical path. As the swing jaw approaches the fixed jaw, raw material is crushed or split against the toothed jaw plates. When the swing jaw retracts, the crushed material is discharged through the bottom opening. This continuous, rhythmic cycle ensures high-volume throughput.

Maintenance tips

1In order to reduce the influence of vibration and noise on the nearby buildings, hardwood, rubber or other vibration-absorbing materials should be used in the middle of crusher and concrete foundation.

2Before testing, it is necessary to confirm that the connecting bolts have been tightened and the moving parts have been lubricated.

3The empty machine test can be carried out only when the pulley is moved by manpower and the movement is confirmed to be unimpeded.
