Working Principle

The crushing method of European type jaw crusher is dynamic squeeze. The working principle is: the electromotor drives the belt and pulley to make the movable jaw move back and forth, up and down through the eccentric shaft. The raw material is squashed or split when movable jaw plate moves towards fixed jaw together with movable jaw. When movable jaw and movable jaw plate turn back by eccentric shaft and spring, the raw material, which is squashed or split before discharges from the bottom outlet under jaw plate. The bulk-production comes true while electromotor rotates continuously and the movable jaw crushes and discharges the raw material periodically.

By them, the actual size of feeding materials can be consistent with ideal size, which can effectively enlarge the crushing space. Besides, materials wouldn’t pile in the crushing chamber, so the crushing ratio and capacity can reach the optimal status and the utilization of jaw plates could extend.

  • Wedge Device, Convenient Adjustments

    PEW Jaw Crusher adopts a wedge discharging adjustment device, so that the machine can turn the discharge port to a preset value within minutes even under the idling circumstance. In cooperation with the hydraulic system, automation is available. Compared with the old gasket discharging adjustment device, this device is simpler, safer and quicker.

    There are tens of lines of numerical controlling machine tools. Operations such as steel plates' cutting, bending, planing, milling and paint spraying are all controlled numerically. The machining precision is high, especially for the core parts.

Maintenance tips

1In order to reduce the influence of vibration and noise on the nearby buildings, hardwood, rubber or other vibration-absorbing materials should be used in the middle of crusher and concrete foundation.

2Before testing, it is necessary to confirm that the connecting bolts have been tightened and the moving parts have been lubricated.

3The empty machine test can be carried out only when the pulley is moved by manpower and the movement is confirmed to be unimpeded.
